We ship frozen, chilled, canned and pre-cooked seafood to Europe, the USA, the Far East, the Middle East and Africa. We process in India. We also source from Vietnam, Indonesia, China and Africa.
From one man's vision to five countries.
Mr. T. M. Zainudheen started Algamar in the late 1970s. He worked alone. He supplied seafood, and he ran local fishing boats himself. He knew the boats, the crews and the catch.
In 1981 he built the first factory, Royal Food Packers. It canned sardines and frog legs. In 1995 the family opened a seafood processing factory. That plant froze seafood and sent the first loads to buyers outside India.
The third generation runs Algamar today. We did not build most of this ourselves. The suppliers, the buyers and the knowledge of the product came from the two generations before us. That is more than fifty years of work, and it goes into every order we ship. Some of those relationships are older than the people who now manage them.

Graded, frozen, cooked or canned in the form you require — bulk or retail, our label or yours, to your written specification.
Verify
Every lot is checked for species, glaze and temperature. Your team is welcome to witness the inspection, live, before loading.
Deliver
Sea freight worldwide, or fresh and chilled by air from India. Papers complete, temperatures confirmed, the container sealed before it leaves.
Global reach
Five major origins, one seamless supply.
We buy in India, Vietnam, Indonesia, China and Africa. We ship to Europe, the USA, the Far East, the Middle East and Africa. Our customers are end users, resellers, wholesalers and re-processors. We also bring fish into India for the home market. Whichever country the seafood comes from, you buy it from one company and you talk to one person. Overseas buyers have worked this way with us for thirty years: whoever packs it, the guarantee you hold is ours.
